I M Legend
Monster reinvents itself. The fifth generation brings a fresh guise and a new heart: an updated design, the new V2 twin engine and cutting-edge electronic technologies, now also available in the new Sport livery. The continuous evolution of a spirit that has never changed, a legend that has put generations of motorcyclists on the road. Just as it did thirty years ago, Monster continues to embody the very essence of Ducati.
    Highlighted Features
    • Totally renewed in its every detail: Totally redesigned, the new Hypermotard V2 retains the agility and riding ease of the previous model but is now 8.8 lbs lighter and flaunts a sportier, more extended position. Thanks to the new V2 engine and the use of cutting-edge components, the wet weight is just 386 lbs.
    • New V2 twin engine: The new Monster is powered by the V2 engine, a symbol of Ducati's sports attitude. Capable of delivering 110.7 hp and 67 lb-ft of torque, it is more compact and streamlined, with optimized architecture to conceal many elements that were previously on view. The Intake Variable Timing system continuously modifies the intake valve opening advance for the best possible delivery at all times. It also features the new Ducati Quick Shift 2.0, already adopted on recent models including the Panigale V4, as well as four Riding Modes and four Power Modes (High, Medium, City, and Low) that regulate throttle response and power delivery.
    • New full LED headlight with DRL: The new generation of Monster stands out for its modern and technological design, with a compact front end that emphasizes aggressiveness. The full LED light cluster is fully updated and includes the front DRL.
    • Light, agile, and technological: The new Monster is an extremely versatile bike that easily adapts to both urban use and sports riding thanks to its lightness, wide steering angle, the V-twin’s Intake Variable Timing, suspension, and fully updated electronics package. The dynamic quality is also improved, for a smooth, precise, and intuitive ride: a perfect bike for both experienced riders and those navigating the Ducati world for the first time.
    • Feet easily touch the ground: A seat height of 32.1 in (0.2 inches lower than the previous generation) and a reduced straddle arch make it easier to reach the ground. The Ducati Performance accessories catalogue also includes a lower seat and a suspension lowering kit, which, when used together, reduces the seat height to 30.5 inches.
    • Iconic and muscular tank: The Monster’s tank is a key element of its design, combining contemporary language with references to legends of the past. The front air vents, as well as paying tribute to the second generation of Monster, allow for a wide steering angle without sacrificing the powerful build for which this model has always stood out.
    • Race-derived electronics: Like every Ducati, the electronics of the new Monster are inspired by the racing world. Four Riding Modes allow the bike to be adapted to any road surface and riding style, highlighting the dual spirit of Monster: the sporty versus the more accessible and enjoyable day-to-day. Each Riding Mode is associated with a dedicated and customizable Power Mode that manages power delivery. The electronics package includes riding controls that are preset based on the selected Riding Mode and completely customizable by the rider: ABS Cornering has three levels with an ‘only front’ function for sports use, Traction Control eight levels, Wheelie Control four, and the new Engine Brake Control three levels.
    • New 5” display and two info modes: Road and Road Pro: The new 5” TFT display, as standard, is now 16% larger than the previous generation. Greater dimensions provide better readability and a simpler, more intuitive display of controls and riding information. The adaptive structure of the wireframe optimizes viewing of the main menu and its functions, dynamically adjusting the layout of icons to ensure a smooth and efficient user experience. The information is displayed in Day and Night mode depending on the natural light conditions, and in two info modes, Road and Road Pro, for an ever-intuitive, tailor-made experience.
    • Showa suspension and a dedicated braking system: To ensure both efficient daily use and sports attitude, the new Monster has an updated setting complete with Showa suspension with adjustable rear preload, designed to offer the perfect balance of comfort and stability. The front end is more precise and stable while still ensuring real riding ease. The Brembo braking system uses pads with dedicated friction material that improves modulability and ensures smoother maneuvers, especially in an urban setting. At the front, two 320 mm discs with Brembo radial callipers and a radial master cylinder, and at the rear, a 245 mm disc with dual-piston calliper, ensuring power and control even with the hardest braking.

Why Buy a Pre-Owned Motorcycle at BMW Motorcycles of Concord?

Choosing between new or pre-owned BMW Motorcycles can be one of the most complex decisions that you have to take. On the one hand, there is a risk of issues evolving after you purchase a pre-owned motorcycle, while on the other hand, new ones may tend to go out of your budget. However, the risks involved in buying a pre-owned motorcycle can be reduced or even eliminated if you buy from our BMW, Triumph, and Ducati Motorcycle dealership near Berkeley, CA. You’ll see why motorcycles like the Triumph Trident 660, the Ducati Multistrada 1260, and the BMW R 18 are amazing.

What Benefits Will You Gain If You Buy a Pre-Owned Motorcycle from BMW Motorcycles of Concord?

If you belong to the list of people who have recently developed an interest in riding a motorcycle and want a premium motorcycle for themselves, or if you’re looking to upgrade your motorcycle, buying a pre-owned motorcycle may serve several benefits to you. Let’s take a look at the benefits you’ll get if you consider purchasing a used motorcycle from BMW Motorcycles of Concord.

    No Extra Costs

When buying pre-owned motorcycles, you can save a handsome amount of money as there aren’t any additional costs involved. For example, since all expenses like road tax, RTO charges, and registration charges are already paid by the first owner, you won’t have to pay them again.

The only cost you will have to pay is the motorcycle’s fixed amount that the motorcycle dealership requests.

    Better Return on Value

It is a fact that the depreciation rate of a brand-new motorcycle is larger than the depreciation rate of a used motorcycle. On average, a new motorcycle loses approximately 50 percent of its value in the first five years after being purchased. After this time, the rate of depreciation tends to slow down.

Hence, if you get a pre-owned motorcycle near Oakland, CA, or near Richmond, CA, you are highly likely to get it at a much lower price. Even if you decide to sell it after some time and at a different location near Berkeley, CA, or near San Francisco, CA, you won’t lose much money.

Why Should You Trust Our Dealership?

We at BMW Motorcycles of Concord have a new and used motorcycle inventory that also includes the Triumph Trident 660, the Ducati Multistrada 1260, and the BMW R 18 for sale.
